Our Parents’ and Citizens’ Association (P & C) is an important part of the North East Metro LDC community.
We are here to support our school to enable the students reach their full language potential and transition to mainstream school as smoothly as possible. Remember ‘It takes a village to raise a child…and a whole school to optimise language growth.’
This is achieved by:
- Fundraising and allocating funds that are raised.
- Organising activities and events to promote community spirit within the school.
- Providing input from a parents perspective on school policies and other issues that may arise.
Anyone can join the P & C and any level of involvement is welcome. Your involvement can range from being an Office Bearer (President, Vice president, Treasurer or Secretary), taking an active role in fundraising or even just attending the meetings to see what goes on.
Meetings are scheduled monthly and notice of the meetings is given in the school newsletter. Alternatively please contact the school admin to see when our next meeting is held.
